These pages are a window onto the thoughts of the International Committee on Taxonomy of Viruses (ICTV) Picornavirales Study Group (which was formed in late 2011). This should allow virologists around the world to view proposed amendments to the taxonomy and classification of picorna-like viruses and comment on them.
